alice in wonderland - 2010

can't wait!!

lewis carroll's alice's adventures in wonderland is a favorite book of mine. i think it's extraordinary that it was a simple story told to three little girls, then written down from memory. the fact that it is not an over drafted manuscript lends even more whimsy to the story.

carroll was lucky to have little alice liddell urge him to write down 'the story' for her. little did he know that it would one day fall into the hands of the master of all that is fantastic, mr. tim burton and his partner in crime, johnny depp.

on a strike of fancy, can you imagine what it would have been like if carroll, burton, and depp could have worked together?

enough of my banter, i just wanted to share that i can't wait to see tim burton's alice in wonderland. judging from the previews it promises to be a great compliment to lewis carroll's story.

so down the rabbit hole we go to join alice in wonderland!
